Here is the bike with the shocks and swing arm on If you don't have a bike stand for restoring you really need to get one they are a real life saver I built this one myself

If you don't have a spring compressor yet you need one It took me about 2 min to put both shocks together.  I had absolutely no scratches on my freshly painted shock covers.

Here is a close up of the shocks and swing arm I polished all the aluminum on the shocks and the chrome to get that factory look get a fine wire wheel and slightly buff aluminum to get the cast look back.  After you are done polishing coat parts with clear coat to keep there shine.
